Born with the talent, he started drawing at a tender age of 5 years and while in Primary School his teacher recognised his Art Skill, and he allowed him to draw classroom wall charts with different drawings. Justin never went to an Art School, but he love experimenting with different mediums. While in Harare in 1995 he tempted his first painting with oils and sold it at Amon Shonge Art Gallery in Harare. The curator at the Gallery asked him to be a resident artist at the Gallery doing paintings for the shop, and he worked at the Gallery for four years.
From there he never looked back. He experimented different mediums majoring in Acrylics and Oil. Justin Mashora exhibited his work in different Galleries in Zimbabwe including the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe and later went to live in Victoria Falls where he was exhibiting at ‘ Walk Tribal Art Gallery, Jairos Jiri Gallery, just to mention a few. And also he had an opportunity to work as a tour guide in the area, after he got a short training about African animals. He now specialises in wild life paintings in different techniques.
